And we all think football pays well. Though the money looks big other guys who are jerks (businessmen, pharmaceutical guys etc) make more money. They deserve not to make any money at all.. Footballers at least provide us with entertainment and joy...

Forget Britain, they pay well to footballers in every major league in the world. It is just the lifestyle one associates with soccer that such big money becomes secondary to the stardom these young players get while playing for a big club. Once they are in it they are rich forever, what is daunting is to justify your price all the time.
