If you started selling bags made of skins of psychologists and politicians you won't be able to make any more money than selling bags made of cattle hide. They are more common and cheaper than you might believe. People like soft skin not thick skin.

Atleast I totally disapprove of any such thing. Carrying an extraordinarily costly bag would not help boost one’s confidence if it is scarce in him naturally. And further, it involves killing and skinning innocent animals, brutally, that too for such false pride. It is obnoxious.

If croc skin bags can boost confidence then the lion skin bags would perhaps make such people champs instantly! Such things should be discouraged outrightly as they create a market to promote extreme cruelty.

This is ghastly and barbaric. The Nile crocodile is the largest freshwater crocodile in the world and it is a majestic beast. Anyone who sports the bang should be skinned alive. Any one who pays even a penny for that bag is a definite insensitive bastard.

I fully agree. Every buyer or promoter of these products is as guilty of such ghastly acts as the one who kills or skins the animals.

It is expensive because it is made of the skin of a Nile crocodile. In the Americas alligator skin was much in demand for making fashion accessories and when people started breeding alligators in farms for commercial purposes, their prices dipped. This also gave a much needed reprieve for the wild alligators.

I guess even Nile crocodiles should be bred. This will save the wild crocodiles and give manufacturers like Mulholland. Rob them off their USPs and they would start selling something more meaningful and useful.

But this will not stop, only shift the cruelty from wild crocs to the bred ones.
